The Umbrella Project invites viewers into a world where an everyday object becomes a portal to imagination.

   In this series, the umbrella is more than a shield from the weather — it becomes a character, a prop, a metaphor, and sometimes a quiet rebellion against the ordinary.

   Each photograph explores how a simple shape can transform a scene, shift a mood, or spark a story, whether it’s casting unexpected shadows, adding a burst of color, or creating a moment of stillness in a chaotic landscape.

   At its heart, this project is about noticing the extraordinary hiding in plain sight.

   By placing umbrellas in unconventional contexts, pairing them with unexpected subjects, or using them to manipulate light and form, the work challenges viewers to rethink the familiar and embrace the playful tension between function and fantasy.   

   It’s an exploration of shelter, identity, whimsy, and the quiet poetry of objects we often overlook.
